About Me

Hello, my name is Miguel Rios Quintero and I am a Lead Customer Portals and User Experience Manager with over 16 years of experience in the industry and academia. My main focus is on QoE and UX scientific research. I have a lot of experience in lead UX research in companies.

I have completed my PhD research in Computer Science, but have not yet submitted my thesis. I am a certified UX professional and Agile Product Owner. I have published several papers on the topics of Quality of Experience and multimedia systems. I am also fluent in Spanish, English and German.

In addition to my professional background, I have been a competitive swimmer since I was 7 years old, and I have represented my country in several national and international competitions. I believe that the discipline and hard work that I have learned through swimming have been key to my success in my professional life.

I am also a technology enthusiast and I enjoy making automations using home assistant to improve my home’s efficiency and convenience.

I’m always looking for ways to improve, whether it’s in the pool or in my smart home.

I am always looking for ways to expand my knowledge and provide a fresh and holistic perspective on the technological innovation industry. I am an expert on KPI’s data analysis, emotional intelligence management, leadership and customers’ acceptability of emerging technologies.
